The bus scene on Malta has always been diverse and colourful, up to the mid 1970s, it was even more colourful, with each route having its own livery.
Maltese Buses of Yesteryear (MBOY) looks back to the 50s and the 60s, and with a combination of period photgraphs and maps, looks at each route. In addition, a feel for what it what like to use the buses in the 50s and the 60s is gained through a pair of articles written by people living in Malta and using the buses at the time.
